The idea and concept of Robert Mangold for the Caféhaus Siesmayer, dating back to 2004, is based on the tradition of Viennese coffee houses with classical German cakes and pastry products and very fine French patisserie. Excellent quality and first-class service are coming together here.
The Caféhaus is particularly popular and well known for its diverse selection of patisserie and cakes. The café’s own confectionery creates every day classics such as cheese and apple cakes, bakery goods of all kinds and designs delicious patisserie slices with great passion for details.

Helena Mangold has been the face of the Caféhaus Siesmayer since 2005. Grown up in Würzburg with Italian roots, she knows her guests with all their preferences like nobody else. As a trained translator she, moreover, speaks five different languages and can hence support the many international guests with help and advice.
Both demanding regular guests and curious Palmengarten visitors are always served in a professional and friendly manner, with a charming smile by the team around Helena Mangold.

The Caféhaus Siesmayer is renowned beyond the city limits for its first-class bakery goods. Bakery manager Sabrina Haberlah, who learned her trade at Café Engelke and rarefies her knowledge with advanced training and bakery manager Robert Polz, who gathered already experience in many international hotels, are freshly producing the popular cake and patisserie products with a lot of love and care with their confectionery team, day after day.
The artisanal creations of the confectionery fulfil real coffee house dreams and are accompanied in the dining room by the fresh scents of delicious coffee specialties, which meet the Fair Trade standard and guarantee outstanding organic quality for the guests. Of course, we also offer our cakes and pastries to take away. Some of our confectionery products are lactose free and / or gluten free.

Dominik Gande is chef de cuisine at Caféhaus Siesmayer since 2017. Dominik and his team offer you a selection of delicious, fresh, regional as well as Mediterranean dishes. In addition to our regular menu with cold and hot dishes, you can also enjoy the changing "menu of the week". Dominik Gande has been a member of the Tiger & Palmen Group since 2012 and worked with Alfred Friedrich and Christoph Rainer in our Tiger-Gourmetrestaurant and the restaurant Lafleur. He completed his apprenticeship as a chef at the "Mönch's Waldhotel Unterreichenbach" and gained valuable experience afterwards in the gourmet restaurant "Berlins Krone" in Bad Teinach-Zavelstein and the "Waldhorn Ravensburg".

The Caféhaus Siesmayer offers savoury dishes and snacks throughout the day, from morning to evening. Our own confectionery around Sabrina Haberlah and Robert Polz makes not only cakes and patisserie but also part of our other bakery goods for a delicious breakfast. We source part of the breads and rolls from the Frankfurt-based organic bakery “Zeit für Brot”. The dishes for lunch and dinner are prepared freshly and “a la minute” by our team around chef Dominik Gande. Our service team around our charming restaurant manager Helena Mangold supports you competently and friendly and will be pleased to help you in selecting dishes and beverages.
Every morning the Siesmayer is filled with the scents of freshly baked rolls, baguettes and breads. A comprehensive offering, from a small breakfast with croissants and delicious jams to an extensive breakfast with bread basket, savoury ham and cheese, egg dishes and fresh coffee ensure a perfect start to your day.
We will be pleased to serve you your breakfast at the Siesmayer from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 11 am as well as on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 12 noon.
At noon we offer you a selection of regional and Mediterranean dishes. All meals are prepared here of course freshly and with seasonal products. Apart from our set menu card with regular cold and hot dishes, you can also enjoy the “Siesmayer Menu”.
Furthermore we offer you our "Express Lunch" for short lunch breaks from every monday to friday.
The Caféhaus Siesmayer is famous for its delicious cakes and fine pastry, as you normally find it only in France. The creations, freshly prepared every day in our own patisserie, are very popular. Apart from our all-year cake offering, you will always find seasonal specialties at our cake counter.

KiKo - Kids Kiosk
The Kids Kiosk, abbreviated as “KiKo”, is located in the northern part of the Palmengarten next to the water features and the playground. With a family-friendly offering, including beverages, ice cream, partly also seasonal fruit, hot sausages and nibbles at attractive prices, the KiKo is operated annually between May and September from 10 am to 6 pm, and in April and October only on public holidays and during the weekends.

The Kids Kiosk is a very special project within the framework of the training activities of the Palmengarten Gastronomy and the Tigerpalast Varieté Theater. With this exemplary concept, we want to demonstrate our special trust in our apprentices and provide them with an opportunity to run a small gastronomy operation under their own responsibility and independently. In this project the apprentices of the 2nd and 3rd year can gain first entrepreneurial experience in purchasing and invoicing and implement their own ideas in view of sales promotion, marketing and customer advice.
Consequently, the product range is adapted on a seasonal basis in a direct contact with the guests to their needs and wishes. The architectural planning and design was carried out by the firm of architects of Professor Turkali. In this connection, it was of course considered that the spatial design is also implemented in an accommodating manner for our youngest guests.
